Get In Touch
Hi, I’m glad you stopped by. If you want to chat you’ll find me in the usual places – leave a message on the Expatlog Facebook page or tweet me. I’ve stepped back from social media recently but I’ll get it eventually. If there’s something more specific on your mind drop me an email and I promise I’ll read it just as the caffeine’s kicking in.
If you’re looking for a writer you’ll be interested to know I write web copy and feature articles for custom publications. My portfolio and LinkedIn profile should tell you all you need to know. If you’re here to offer me links that are ‘a great fit’ for my blog you’re in the wrong place.

Hi Aisha. I enjoyed reading some of your experiences of living in Canada. I can related to a handful, as I lived in Toronto for a few months. Your photos brought back fond memories. Look forward to reading more.

‘My personal A~Z of…’
As one of the “three musketeers” helping to set up this project, I thought it might be useful to set up a ‘hub page’ about ‘My Personal A ~ Z of…’ where we can all upload our country and blog details – and then add our A ~ Z posts. You can find this ‘hub page’ at http://algarveblog.net/my-personal-a-z/ and you can find the links to the ‘List of Countries’ page http://algarveblog.net/my-personal-a-z/a-z-list-of-countries/ and the ‘List of Blog Posts’ page http://algarveblog.net/my-personal-a-z/a-z-list-of-blog-posts-letters-af/ via these links. Or just click on my name above and it will take you to the web-site – you will see the tab on the top for ‘My Personal A ~ Z’
I have added you to the list – please let me know if any details are incorrect … and feel free to add the links to these pages to your blog and let everyone know – the more the merrier!
Please add a comment to any of the pages to have your details added or changed – and then please add your Blog Posts as you write them – you will also find this a useful place to find other Blog Posts for you to link to and enjoy reading. I’m happy to create a free jpeg logo for anyone that wants one for their country’s flag – or just make up your own!
This is a fab idea – thanks to Julie Dawn Fox for starting it all – let’s all link up and share each other’s blogs – and hope you all enjoy the ride!

Hi Aisha, I see you are also taking part in the A-Z challenge. I have awarded you the Liebster award. Feel free to collect and pass it on if you wish.
Look forward to reading your posts. I have a brother in law and sister in law in Quebec, and because I´m also a world traveler I´m drawn to expat blogs.

Hi Aisha,
I just finished reading your post ‘I have a house’. I was beautiful. It really struck a chord with me. You see, I too have a house that is special to me and I wrote about it in my book…
Somehow the man I love was able to capture my dreams, then draw and build them for me. I love my house, it protects me in this foreign country, not from anything bad just from everything different.
I only wish I was half the writer you are and was able to share my feelings as good as you shared yours… Bravo.

Awww thank you Maggie, I can see you’re on my wavelength. You are so lucky to be living in yours. I feel if I could just bring mine over here then everything would be perfect. Your compliment about my writing blew me away – to hear something like that from a published author was a real boost. Thankyou x

Yeah, still not sure how that happened (but don’t tell anyone).

Salaam, how are you?
I came across your blog and have to say it’s very good 🙂
I live in Scotland with my husband 2 children.
This may sound bizarre though I have never visited Canada (hope to do so next year) I have this feeling in my heart that it’s a place I would like to live. I can’t explain why Canada but there’s just something about it that I found exciting and adventurous.
I would like more insight into life in Canada. How did your kids settle Into school, job opportunities etc. anything really just some information.
Where about do you live? Is it hard without family?
I look forward to hearing from you,
Regards,
Kalsoom
Nicola
Thank You Thank You Thank You! Reading my own tangled thoughts from your perspective makes me feel so happy.
